Introduction
Water wastage due to overflowing tanks and dry-run motor damage are common problems in residential and commercial buildings. An Automatic Water Level Controller (AWLC) is an intelligent device that automatically controls the water pump based on the water level in the overhead tank and underground sump.
The GEESYS Automatic Water Level Controller ensures efficient water management by automatically switching the motor ON and OFF when the water level reaches preset limits. It helps prevent water overflow, saves electricity, protects pumps from dry running, and eliminates manual monitoring.
Designed with advanced sensing technology and reliable protection mechanisms, this controller is ideal for homes, apartments, industries, hotels, hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings.
Product Description
Water level controller is an equipment used to control the water level in a field. This project controls the level of water in water tank automatically and is of better quality as compared to other circuits. They are very useful devices and allow one circuit to switch another one while they are completely separate.
The Water Level Indicator includes a simple mechanism which helps to detect and indicate the water level in an overhead tank or any other water container. The sensing is done by using a set of nine probes which are placed at nine different levels on the tank walls.
Benefits
- Prevents water tank overflow
- Protects pump from dry run damage
- Saves electricity and water
- Reduces manual monitoring
- Extends pump life
- Ensures uninterrupted water supply
How to Select Water Level Controller
Selecting the right controller starts with understanding the tank arrangement and pump application. A single-tank layout needs a different control logic from an overhead tank plus sump arrangement. If your installation includes both an underground sump and an overhead tank, the controller should monitor both points so the motor runs only when source water is available and storage needs filling.
- Number of tanks: confirm whether the site has only one tank or a sump plus overhead tank combination.
- Overhead tank + sump requirement: choose a controller that can monitor source and destination tank levels together.
- Pump HP: verify whether the application is for 1HP, 2HP, or 3HP pump duty, or if a starter-based control panel is needed for higher loads.
- Sensor type: conductive sensors are common for traditional systems, while float sensors can be preferred in specific water conditions or maintenance preferences.
- Dry run protection requirement: this is especially important for borewell and low-water-source applications.
- Site type: home, apartment, and commercial installations can differ in wiring distance, pump duty cycle, and operating pattern.
